The newly renovated seat wall at the top of Applecroft Park received the final flourish this past week with the installation of two matching planters.
The planters are hand crafted of dry cast limestone by Longshadow in Illinois. They are exact duplicates of the planters at the bottom of the park, however, slightly scaled down for the smaller piers at the top. They have a natural porosity that will allow them to weather gracefully over many decades and at 440 pounds each should easily stay in place!
